Come and join this dynamic multidisciplinary Adult Community Mental Health Team who provide support and education to adults experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties. In this role you can be assured of a great variety in your work. You will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary clinical steps are taken to assist clients to achieve optimal health, wellbeing and safety through the provision of appropriate assessment, intervention and education.
The Community Mental Health & Addictions Team is a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, alcohol and other drug clinicians, and administration staff. The client group is diverse and they cover a broad-spectrum both socioeconomically and culturally.
The Community Mental Health & Addictions Team is contracted to meet the mental health needs of 3% of this population who have moderate to severe mental illness.
