The team are looking to boost their numbers, and hence they now have need of a new addition to their tight team. This person will actively work across the Inpatient, Community, and Addictions teams, to support clients of the service alongside the skilled Nursing and Allied Health staff.

As a trailblazing service (who were instrumental in pioneering the adoption of the Strengths Based Recovery Model here in NZ), they need your skills to shine in bringing your clinical expertise to their Mental Health and Addictions Service (which is recognized by Government & general public alike, as being a priority need area).

They are particularly eager to add fresh insight and youthful perspective to their team which would make the role perfect for a New Graduate who will gain the support and guidance of experienced and forward-thinking colleagues.

In this post you will of course be responsible for conducting outpatient & inpatient work, alongside the multidisciplinary team as well as acute care cover and on call work. It goes without saying that the ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues from all disciplines is essential.

The sense of community and belonging is reflected in-house as much as it is a part of the local landscape, and what a landscape with every sporting and outdoor interest wise almost literally on the doorstep providing genuine ease of access.

Located in New Zealand’s South Island this town is often considered to be a well-kept secret by those in the know. A provincial  setting with stunning landscapes, there is access to great schools, affordable housing and a low crime rate, making this town the place for young families who crave a family friendly environment with lots of opportunities.
