About the role
Puawai, the Regional Forensic Psychiatric Service based at Waikato Hospital, covers the Te Manawa Taki region across more than 21,000 km². The service provides secure inpatient care – acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and transition wards – and community forensic services working across the courts and three prisons. Permanent, full-time role.
Salary & benefits
Base salary range: NZ$198,386 – NZ$282,645 (on call and job size on top)
6 weeks annual leave
Generous CME leave and funding (currently up to NZ$18,000 per annum under the collective agreement)
Relocation assistance: flights, accommodation, vehicle and freight
