About the role
Waikato Hospital is a 722-bed tertiary hospital serving 840,000 people across the Midland region, providing major tertiary services including trauma, cardiac surgery and neurosurgery. Its 16-bed ICU manages around 1,500 ICU and 3,000 HDU patients a year. Permanent, full-time role with on-call; FCICM or UK FICM with CCT required.
Salary & benefits
Base salary range: NZ$198,386 – NZ$282,645 (on call and job size on top)
6 weeks annual leave
Generous CME leave and funding (currently up to NZ$18,000 per annum under the collective agreement)
Relocation assistance: flights, accommodation, vehicle and freight
Professional indemnity support arrangements (varies by employer)
