About the role

Join the Anaesthesia and Pain team at Middlemore Hospital, working across Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Surgical Centre for a diverse South and East Auckland population of around 600,000.

Middlemore is an 800-bed tertiary teaching hospital with 14 operating theatres, home to the National Burns Centre, delivering around 32,000 anaesthetic episodes a year.

We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in complex/chronic pain management or paediatric anaesthesia, alongside a generalist anaesthesia skillset.

Salary & benefits

Base salary range: NZ$198,386 – NZ$282,645 (on call and job size on top)
6 weeks annual leave
Generous CME leave and funding (currently up to NZ$18,000 per annum under the collective agreement)
Relocation assistance: flights, accommodation, vehicle and freight
Professional indemnity support arrangements (varies by employer)
