Anaesthetist - Intensive care skills

Are you an Anaesthetist with proven Intensive care experience? New Zealand has an opportunity to practise in a dual-capacity role within a well-supported, collegial environment that values clinical excellence, innovation, and teamwork. You’ll contribute to both elective and emergency anaesthesia services, while also playing a key role in the Intensive Care Unit, managing complex cases and supporting critical care pathways across the region.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience and expertise in Anaesthesia with Intensive Care Skills

Subspecialty interests will be considered but Intensive Care Skills highly favourable

Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration as an Anaesthetist

Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Anaesthetist with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering:

Annual leave: 6 weeks

CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks

$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.

Reimbursement of APC, college membership, and indemnity insurance.
