Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Consultant General Physician to join healthcare facilities in the picturesque South Island of New Zealand. As a Consultant General Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience and expertise in general medical practice, including acute and chronic disease management and contribute to advanced care of the acute inpatients and outpatients in the region.
• Have subspecialty interests, however, all areas will be considered.
• Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent.
• Be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

• $185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
