An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative Radiology Department within one of New Zealands capital city.  

Our succesful applicant will be providing consultant breast radiology services, which will facilitate the provision of appropriate high quality radiological services to the clinical specialities of Breast Screening Central and symptomatic breast services.

Boasting a wide variety of clinical referrers, including regional plastic surgery and rheumatology services as well as 2 Emergency departments, they provide effective, efficient and professional clinical radiology services, including general radiology reporting, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound and interventional radiology. Several of their Radiologists are subspecialist trained, so there is the ability to interact with and be peer-reviewed by colleagues with another sub-specialisation to increase your skills. They also have Regional Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services within their facility.

Working in New Zealand

New Zealand has a Multi-Employer Collective Agreement in place across our newly established healthcare system known as Health New Zeland  - Te Whatu Ora and salaries are consistent based upon years of post-specialist experience. NZDr can provide you with all the details for this. 


Benefits include:

  • Base salary (NZ$170,369 - $250,560) + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
  • 6 weeks annual leave
  • 2 weeks / $16,000 CME/CPD Allowance
  • Reimbursement of your practicing registration fees, college membership and indemnity insurance
