A full-time opportunity is available for a Consultant Neurologist to provide specialist care across Rotorua and TaupÅ in New Zealand’s Lakes District. The role involves managing a wide spectrum of neurological conditions with a mix of inpatient consultations and outpatient clinics. You’ll contribute to service development and regional networks, with scope to shape care pathways in a growing and diverse population.
The Lakes District offers a lifestyle that’s hard to match. Rotorua is a geothermal wonderland with rich MÄori heritage, while TaupÅ sits beside the country’s largest lake, framed by volcanic peaks and alpine trails. Whether it’s mountain biking through redwood forests, skiing on Mt Ruapehu, or unwinding in natural hot springs, the region invites exploration and balance. With excellent schools, affordable housing, and a strong sense of community, it’s an ideal setting for international specialists seeking professional challenge and personal renewal.
