We are seeking a General Medicine Physician to join a dynamic team of six physicians. This role will work collaboratively and cohesively with the multidisciplinary team to provide effective services for the region.
Applicants are expected to have a general skill in internal medicine and should be passionate about delivering effective outpatient care and acute and elective inpatient care for a community of approximately 47,000 people. We would love to hear from physicians who have sub-specialty interest and expertise, including in the areas of Diabetes and Endocrinology, Care of the Elderly, Stroke Medicine and Neurology, Nephrology and Dermatology. Physicians work an after-hours 1:6 call back roster and time is split with 70% clinical responsibilities and 30% non-clinical.
Candidates who have an interest in the role need to be eligible for Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) vocational registration in the Scope of Practice of Internal Medicine (General and Acute Care Medicine).

Salary: $185,380 - $267,980 Base + $16,000 CME + allowances, reimbursements and relocation package.
